After over a year of Zoom breakout rooms, socially-distanced coffee chats, and reminding professors to start the recording, Langone students can see the light at the end of this virtual learning tunnel (we hope!). As we eagerly await herd immunity and the return of a somewhat normal MBA experience, we can’t help but acknowledge the incredible ways Langone students have excelled during this time by continuing to support each other professionally and personally. This sense of community is what makes the Langone program so special, and why we can’t wait to embark on a new year as your co-presidents.
LSG remains committed to improving the Stern experience for all Langone students. We’re here to plan exciting events to drive engagement and to offer networking opportunities for students at all stages of their careers. We’re also here to act as a voice to the Stern administration and to the university as a whole, advocating for our fellow Langone students during this period of change.
While we don’t know exactly what lies ahead, you can count on us to work tirelessly to support the Langone community this coming year. Some of our goals include:
- Plan fun events! We know everyone is excited to see each other and we will have opportunities for engagement no matter where you are located
- Collaborate with the Langone Diversity Committee to launch initiatives that make Stern more inclusive
- Bolster career resources among Langone students for those interested in exploring career changes
- …. and more!
We can’t wait to spend the upcoming year working together to make your experience at Stern as rewarding as possible. Feel free to reach out at any time if you have ideas or feedback!
