Quarantined in California

Over the past couple of days, news outlets have been reporting that California and Washington state are showing early signs of progress due to early shelter-in-place measures. The two states were the first to implement social distancing measures, and localities have been cracking down on enforcing these regulations. I flew back home to California for spring break, and ended up getting locked down here when shelter-in-place was ordered. Everything, from the flight to SFO to the line at Costco, has felt like something out of an apocalyptic movie, starring me.

At Home Workouts for Your Hot Girl Quarantine

For the past two weeks, my daily exercise has been my several trips to and back from the fridge. I begrudgingly opened Classpass one day and was pleasantly surprised to see that they have dozens of at home workouts on demand. Although I haven’t done nearly as many as I should, I have enjoyed the at home workouts I’ve done so far. Trapped in Morocco

I would like to preface this article by saying that my friend and I now realize how risky it was to travel during Spring Break, and we probably should have heeded the University’s advice to stay home. Nonetheless, we thankfully did eventually make it back safe and now have a great story in the arsenal for future cocktails parties, when social distancing is a mere memory.

My classmate, Teresa and I were supposed to go on DBi Morocco a few weeks ago. Teresa is in my block and always sat in the front with me in our foundation classes. To her dismay, I call those days the “acquaintance days.”…
